Zazzle you are REJECTED

I just received two REJECTED BY CLARKESWORLD t-shirts from Zazzle. I’m returning the shirts and will likely close my account with them. You can even read the text on the finished product. The colors are all wrong (really, a BLUE bear?). It looks nothing like the photo. How disappointing.

I’m going to see if I can find another place to make these products. Recommendations welcome.

I have to at least give Zazzle credit for a moment. They replied to my Tweet about this and are looking into it. They have a satisfaction guarantee, so I should be able to return them. Still, very disappointing. I was looking forward to these.

End result. Given an RMA number and a UPS label that wouldn’t print on one page without fiddling with it. Won’t refund my order until they receive the shirts. Nice. I’ve disabled all the products in our Zazzle store.

Sorry to hear it. Everything I’ve had from Zazzle has been great.

I totally understand why you won’t do business with them, but just as a data point, I think this isn’t a common thing with them.

I find it ironic you’re sending them some “rejected by Clarkesworld” shirts. Because since it’s true, they can wear it now. What a dilemma.

I have a spreadshirt account. Honestly, I haven’t ordered from it, but I have got no complaints.

You can get a free T-shirt as a test as well. . . I did. Black T with white letters – “XBOX HEAD” – neat graphic I created in Illustrator also – character with an XBOX controller for a head. Easy upload and proofing. Not sure how pricing compares to other options online.

I never ordered more than the free one. . .
