Are you still keeping to the same deadline for submissions? I have written a story that is currently too weak to submit but might try to work on it between now and then if you are still accepting submissions in the hopes that redrafting it improves it sufficiently.
Are you going to send rejections before the deadline?
I have a story in submission, but have a couple of others in varying states of readiness. My thinking is just that if you were to reject my current submission for theme/suitability reasons rather than due to any issues in the writing itself, then I’d appreciate the opportunity to submit an alternate. I believe you don’t want simultaneous subs.
Of course, if my writing just sucks then that’s a different matter 🙂

Extended it to October 31, 2013.

Correct. I don’t want simultaneous submissions, but will allow authors to send another story if the previous one is rejected.

Cheers. I’ll start polishing then, just in case. Congrats on the Hugo btw.

Thanks!
