Touchable Unreality

I’ve been sitting on some news for a while because I didn’t know when it would actually happen. Now that it’s finally available for preorder, I can announce Touchable Unreality, a bilingual anthology of Chinese science fiction. The stories in this anthology were translated for publication in Clarkesworld Magazine as part of our partnership with Storycom. At present, this anthology is only available in China. A US edition is being discussed.

The Shimmer Program has a great writeup featuring all the authors included in this anthology.

Let me know when it’s available in Yingwen. I’m the art director for Quantummuse.com, have poems (150+) in Aphelion-webzine and help a Chinese poet with her English translations. I read the review in the NY Review of Books and just finished INVISIBLE WORLDS edited by Ken Liu. They resonated well.
BTW I have a degree in History and a masters certification in Asian Studies granted way back in 1978 when it was a rare subject to study.

I have some copies that I’ve imported for sale at conventions and such. Happy to sell you one if you are interested. Just email me. (See contact page.)

There won’t be an official US edition of Touchable Unreality, but we will be publishing an English language only best of the first three years of the translation project here. We’ll be announcing that shortly. (There will also be a Touchable Unreality 2 in China later this year.)
