Sometimes books don’t go where they are supposed to. I just found out that several boxes of books from PS Publishing that were supposed to go from the UK to New Jersey, jumped ship and ran off to California. I can’t say I blame them. The beaches are better and the weather nicer. Still, PS is forcing them to return by Monday. Assuming they don’t take a side trip to Florida (again, couldn’t blame them) I should start shipping signed editions of THE DEVIL DELIVERED by Steven Erikson, LITTLE MACHINES by Paul J. McAuley, and DON’T TURN OUT THE LIGHT ed. by Stephen Jones on Tuesday. These books will have travelled more in a month than I have in the last two years.
