Teatro Grottesco by Thomas Ligotti

Durtro just announced pricing and details for Teatro Grottesco by Thomas Ligotti. If tradition holds, this will be out of print pretty quickly.

‘Teatro Grottesco’ is primarily a compilation of stories collected between hardcovers for the first time. Each story has been newly revised, often extensively, by the author for this edition. In addition to the contents listed below, the Durtro edition also includes hitherto rare texts by Ligotti which will not be included in any future trade edition of this volume.

The book is a quality hardback, bound in black cloth with blocked metallic calligraphic titles by Geoffrey Cox-Dorée, page-signatures sewn to the spine, head- and tail-bands, black foil page edges, black end-papers and ribbon-bookmark. The book has been designed by David Tibet and Kat Cormie, with layout design by Kat Cormie and Internal Omegas by Cox-Dorée. The book contains the following stories and is 344 pages long.

Contents:

Derangements
Purity • The Town Manager • Sideshow, and Other Stories • The Clown Puppet • The Red Tower

Deformations
My Case for Retributive Action • Our Temporary Supervisor • In a Foreign Town, In a Foreign Land

The Damaged and the Diseased

  1. Craig, how does one “reserve” a copy?

    • And pardon me if that question sounds rather dumb. Thanks!

      • Follow the link (book name) in the entry above and you can click on the preorder button to order it.

        Oh and who’s Craig?

        -Neil

        • Ah, thank you for pointing that out.

(And I’m so sorry! I just came from the Lost and the Damned Board and saw “Craig Clarke” and put two and two together to equal five. Sheesh, color me beet-red!)

  2. $65 is surprisingly reasonable from Durtro.

    • I was pleasantly surprised. Let’s just hope the exchange rate doesn’t go crazy between now and then.
