Cool! I just made an order (my first ever!), making sure to grab that Subterranean issue as I bet it’s going to be a popular one.

Thanks! Subterranean has sold very well for us. It’s too bad the first two issues are out of print. There were several good stories in there.

I’ll see what I can find out. The publisher is very bad about keeping their website up to date and they won’t sell to bookstores, so I don’t have a connection that way either. There are a couple of people that I’ll see at Readercon this weekend that may know what’s going on.

Thanks. They bought a story of mine years ago, after Aboriginal Sf folded, and told me last December that it was in the issue that was just going to the printers – and that was the last thing I heard.

I found something that may help. According to Locus:

“This magazine, known as Chronicle from September ’02 through at least October ’05 (with one or two issues since then not seen), has reverted to its original name and begun a program of combining content from DNA Publications’ other magazines on a rotating basis, this time from Absolute Magnitude (with Dreams of Decadence and Fantastic Stories forthcoming).”

          It then goes on…

“Fiction from Absolute Magnitude consists of stories by Stephen Dedman, Chris Bunch, Denise Lopes Heald, James Keenan, Jo Walton, and Brooks Peck.”

          (taken from: http://www.locusmag.com/2006/Monitor/Magazines05a.html )

I hope that helps. It seems they are doing odd things with their magazines.
