  1. How totally cool!

  2. Beautiful!

  3. Beautiful! I love the motion… the peaking waves and the swirling clouds… and I just noticed… does that kid have an arrow through his head, or is he wearing one of those “gag arrow” headbands???????

    • Ah, the arrow. Yes, that’s a common thing in this artist’s work. It never appears to be a real arrow, at least not judging by his character’s faces. Even looking at the full-sized image, it’s hard to tell. While checking on this I noticed that there is a frog perched on the handle of the umbrella.

  4. That’s fantastic.

  5. Cool cover. Love the arrow. Missed the frog.

  6. Very nice, and meshes well with your monthly covers.

  7. I like the colors in that! If this were flickr, I’d mark it as a favorite 😉

  8. That’s really gorgeous.

  9. Wow. I really like that a lot – the colors, the whimsy, everything. And I thought the arrow was pigtails, a la Pippi Longstocking, until I read the comments.

  10. Again, gorgeous. The art for Clarkesworld consistently blows away the competition. It’s easily the most beautiful magazine going.

  11. Wow! That’s a very eye-catching cover. The books ought to fly off the shelves with that plus the outstanding contents 😉

  12. If all goes as planned, the first Clarkesworld Magazine Anthology (Realms) will be completed in time for this year’s World Fantasy Convention.

WFC just gets more and more exciting… nice cover. Hard-to-see frogs are keen.

  13. simply beautiful!
