Hmm, now look at that. A bestseller list that includes last Saturday and DOESN’T include Harry Potter. It’s probably the only one you’ll see. Now, that said, we did sell a couple of copies… to family. That’s the only time they’ve ever expressed interest in my store.

Why did it sell poorly for us? Did you see the TV at all this weekend? People had to have this book the second it was released and it was sold everywhere. Somehow the big online stores managed to get it far enough in advance that they could guarantee delivery on Saturday. We received our copies Thursday night. Since preorders were so low, I didn’t buy many, so I can happily say that I’m ok with all this. Besides, I’d rather see Robert E. Howard at the top of the list anyway…
