Based on sales at Clarkesworld Books (www.clarkesworldbooks.com) for the week ending April 3rd, 2005.
The titles in this week’s best-seller list were very close after the first 2. It’s no surprise to find Charles de Lint in the top spot. Definitely a customer favorite and each new release proves it. I’m thinking that I should run some sort of contest for the recently announced Hour Before Dawn.
Magazine sales were also closely bunched this week. I think this is the first week (since I’ve been keeping these records) that the top two have been taken by “big name” magazines. Oddly enough, preorders for a magazine that isn’t even out yet were higher than any of these. Expect new horror magazine, Red Scream to make it’s debut at the top of the bestseller list when it comes out later this month.
Thanks to all who sent Lisa and I congratulations on our 10th anniversary! We had a nice trip despite the rain and managed to get back home before the roads flooded. The kids had a fun time at grandma’s. Speaking of the kids… Happy Birthday Eamonn! He turns 2 today.
