A very sad day in the Clarke house

Lisa had a routine doctor’s appointment yesterday.  While performing an ultrasound, they noticed something odd with the baby and took her to have one of those advanced ultrasounds.  To make a long and painful story short, the baby has a very serious defect that is, in the doctor’s words, “incompatible with life.”

I am sorry to hear that. Thoughts and prayers are with you. It happened to my sister-in-law three years ago. She’s presently healthily pregnant.

as you said in your closing of the store, you never realized how many friends you have made by having this store, and hopefully knowing you have support of all those who know you in person or through your business helps get you through this rough time..

That’s . . . terrible. I don’t know what to say. Know that I’m thinking of you and your family, and if you need anything, let me know.

I recently discovered your store and blog, so you don’t know me…but I did want to say that no one deserves this – I’m so sorry it happened to you. Sending you good wishes, across the blogosphere.

    Sad Day

    Neil,
I was saddened to read Sad day in the Clarke house . God will be with you thru this. I know what you are going thru, my wife and I lost 2 sons to the same sort of problems before birth. Once again, May God be with you.
