Steven Erikson and Tim Powers took a commanding hold of the top spots this week with heavy preorders on two new releases that arrived last week. I enjoyed the Powers chapbook… as expected.

-Neil

Ok, I’m a BIG Tim Powers fan.

Any day that I get to read a new Tim Powers story is a good day. The Bible Repairman arrived from Subterranean Press late yesterday and will be read tonight. Should tide me over until Three Days to Never is published later this year. The big question is whether we’ll see the Subterranean limited edition before the Wiliam Morrow trade edition.

The top two spots this week were very close and the deciding factor was how quickly people contacted us after we notified them that these two preorders were now in stock. Congrats jpsorrow!

The new issue of Weird Tales helped push it into the top spot this week. According to last year’s stats, we sell more back issues of this magazine than any other. Fantasy & Science Fiction was the only serious back issues competition they had.

Two Good Signed Books

This week, I received signed copies of a couple of good books. After sending out the preorders, there are still a few left.

The Strange Adventure’s of Rangergirl by Tim Pratt

The Skewed Throne by Joshua Palmatier

Oh and we pulled a winner for the contest we ran with Joshua. Brian W. is the proud winner of the book and dagger pen. Now I have to come up with a few more contest ideas.
